Turkey vs. Denmark

Last night I went to a bar in Ankara (the Zodiac) and watched Turkey play Denmark in the World Cup matches. It was a lot of fun, I watched it with a Danish Couple and a bunch of other guys (Turks, Italian, Hungarian, and some of my American friends from the program). I think Laura (the Dane) and I were the only girls there, apparently football is not that popular a sport among the women here. It was great because the Danes were cheering for their team but they had to be quiet about it because there were so many Turks :) Anyway Turkey was winning but then it was a tie, oh well...

Then went to a club, dancing, drinking, that kind of thing. Got home really late and my room-mate had arrived a little early and she was sleeping! I felt really bad, not the greatest first impression, but I think she's forgiven me and she's this really awesome Turkish girl. Damn I forgot her name already. Senire or something like that but that's not it. It's easy to forget Turkish names, I had her tell me her name like three times this morning in the space of 10 minutes.
